1) Peak performers work to the best of their abilities, enjoy their work and make it fulfilling.
2) There is a solution to every problem and peak performers are adept at finding solutions. When there are problems there are opportunities. Peak performer see problems as stepping stones to opportunities.
When the river is calm, fishermen gather. As a result, there is not enough fish for everybody. Few go fishing where the river is choppy, but there is exactly where the fish are.
3) Peak performer has mental discipline. They are in control of their thoughts and can change their attitudes, behavior and actions. They take charge of their life. They place great responsibilities on their shoulder and take actions to get the result that they want.
4) They learn from past failures and do not dwell on their past mistakes. They focus on their present and move on.
5)Average performers know what to do, but they do not do what they know. Peak performer know what to do and take actions.
6) New peak performer have the skills to model themselves on other top achievers to obtain results.
7) If other people can do something, so can you.
On a different note, a good line from the Site Manager during the recent town hall, " Only when there are wars, Heroes will rise".
